I make my low harps overblow by just doing simple stuff. My Low-D, Low-E, etc... all overblow 456.
Are the basics covered?
What kind of harp? Is the harp airtight? What do you mean by reeds straightened?
With an airtight harp, a proper reed profile and gap, you should be able to make almost any decent brand harp overblow to a useful degree. To sustain and bend overblows/overdraws, you probably need near-perfect setup of the above mentioned things as well as some embossing and maybe some other techniques that I don't really know about.
I hope this helps.

Don't give up...low harps are great for overblows. It may be technique.
When I first started OBing, I set both reeds of the hole as tight as I could, and the blow/draw notes still be playable. SInce my technique has improved, I've actually opened a few gaps back up a little. Still get the OBs but now i can drive a little harder when i want to.

This is way doable...I don't struggle until I get really low like Low C. You should get at least a good 5 and 6 with just profiling and gapping.
I concede the 4 can be touch to setup and have the wiggle room to bend it to pitch. That's where advanced tweaking comes into place.
