I'll be there.

Managed to book Johnny Hewitt and Tommy Allen for the festival so I will be bringing them to the Jam and hosting them Saturday.

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Yes I will be doing the vids again.

Cheers
Russ

Well done guys, it's going to be amazing - the artists appearing in H2011 include Rory McLeod, Rick Epping, Philip Achille, 'Johnny Hewitt and Tommy Allen', Gerry Ezard and Ben Hewlett. ... more to come. We will have repair and maintenance demonstrations from Seydel. Chris Jackson (Slim's Custom Cases) will be showing his harmonica cases and taking orders, and we hope Harmonicas Direct will again set up shop for the weekend.

The weekend will include jams, competitions, workshops on playing, performance, and repair. The main concert will take place on Saturday night.

Do you have to be an NHL member to go to the jam?
I might see if I can get along for the evening, it's not toooo far from Hereford and I'd love to meet a few harp players, I only know 1 round here and he's more of a guitarist. Is the jam just turn up and sign up or will there be so many players it will be hard to get a blow.
what's the parking situation like?

lumpy,

- anyone can jam
- parking is a nightmare but there is a multi storey right next to the folk house
- you will get a go because I will be running it so make yourself known and dont arrive late (be there by 8.30)

People getting organized more than a month and a half ahead of time? What's up with that? I don't understand. ;)

right, I've got a month and a half to come up with a good reason to get a night's 'pass' to get there.

@bluemoose
people were getting organised to go to HCH well in advance too

We get harmonica nuts from all over the world at this event including USA!!:)

There is no camping in the city and nor would you want to, given our lousy weather in October

Hotels, transport etc etc, it all takes time
