this struck a chord with me, as i find myself feeling the same way these days. i mean, i'm not great harp player (yet. still workin' on it) or anything, but when i can sit back and objectively listen to my recordings, i'm kind of amazed at how far i've come. my pre-harp self would never have believed it.

more than just that, though, i find myself in awe at just being part of this whole scene. after decades of attending live shows, it never would have occurred to me that i'd one day be on a stage instead of looking at one. one of "them", so to speak. i've had amazing experiences, played with great people, even made some decent music. produced a great CD for an amazing harp player, for that matter.

sometimes it feels like some wild fantasy, except that it's for real. i still can't believe i get to do this.

it's all pretty cool. anyone else feel like that?

I have been playing for quite a while, have played with some famous people, have played in several parts of the world... and I STILL feel like that, every day. Good for you that you appreciate, and also for coming so far.
