Thought a few of you might be interested in this. Just ran across it online. It means little to me in terms of playing, but I know it may be something to check out for the guys playing guitar and using a rack. Interesting concept and idea. Idk what I think of the "locking" system of what appear to be velcro though. For the price someone could investigate pretty easily.... Here's the link: www.harplock.com
*edit- How do I make that a hyperlink to click on? Srry

Seems like one of those "Doh! Why didn't I think of that?" ideas. My only drawbacks are that although the velcro supposedly doesn't get in the way of playing normally while holding with the hands I wouldn't want it there. Consequently if one plays both on a rack and hand held,a s I do, an extra set of harps in the required keys would be necessary. The other thing is if one uses a Strnad mic, such as the modified version that Jimi Lee uses, it would be useless.
Having said all that, I think it does solve a problem for a lot of people. I'm thinking of trying one. Thanks for the info. ---------- LSC
i think what madcat ruth does here is better because it doesn't involve putting velcro on your harps. but you could mount the binder in a similar way to the way that guy has it.
(in the interests of full disclosure i have to admit that my rack is made out of coat hanger and electrical tape)
@KingoBad: "Obviously he doesn't mind the velcro rubbing him raw playing out of the holder."
Or, he has such a constricted embouchure that his lips never touch the velcro. The design seems to me to indicate that the player doesn't understand how to play a harmonica "well."
