A few weeks ago I gave a reading/performance at the Hudson Valley Writers Center in Sleepy Hollow, NY, just across the river from Congers, NY, where I grew up. The event was filmed and the folks at the HVWC uploaded a one-hour video to Vimeo. I play one song up front and a half-dozen at the end; in the middle, I read the entire long chapter from MISTER SATAN'S APPRENTICE in which I make my Harlem street debut with Mr. Satan. Here's the video, for any who might be interested:

I picked up Journeyman's Road @ HCH. Great story of your Blues Trip. This video was another chance to enjoy your perspective and listen to some great harp. The OMB is coming along nicely isn't it?

Makes me want to go back and reread Mister Satan's Apprentice. It was one of my favorite blues based books I've read thus far!

Bump - Outstanding ! Much respect Adam !
Was given this book by a friend around 1999 and devoured it then... Highly recommend to all who haven't already read it. Spend an hour listening to this and be re-inspired to journey on :)
