I have a question. How long should my XLR cable be if I am using a Low Impedance Mic and a Matching Transformer? I heard high impedance mics are compromised when the cables are long.

So long as the IMT is at the opposite end of the cable from the mic, there is no degradation in tone due to length of cable if the mic/signal is low impedance/balanced.

Yep - you can go 100' with a low-Z cable with very little loss.
