Participants of the 5th WV State Harmonica Championship are invited to dinner with Adam Gussow and Phil Wiggins at 5pm Aug 27th. The championship will be held earlier in the day at noon as part of the 2nd Diamond Teeth Mary Blues and Art Festival in Huntington, WV on Aug 26th and 27th.
The 1st place prize is $200, 2nd place $100, 3rd place $50. There is a $10 entry fee. Phil Wiggins will hold a free 1 hour workshop at 10am. Adam Gussow will hold a free 1 hour workshop at 11 am.
The 2nd Diamond Teeth Mary Blues and Art Festival is free to the public. It runs from 6pm to 10pm Friday. Adam Gussow will perform from &:30 to 8:15. Saturday it runs from 10am to 10pm. Phil Wiggins performs with Nat Reese at 8pm
There will be a jam open to the public both nights at Gino's Pub, from 10pm to 1 am. This is where The Harmonica Club of Huntington, WV meets every Tuesday night.
