Thanks to all who contributed to my thread on recommendations for my first rig. I'm still going back and forth on a few things, but with your help, I'm zeroing in on my system.

In my research of PAs and amps in my price range, I came across the Fender Mustang I 20-watt amp. For $100, it looks like it will do everything I need it to do as an accoustic player, plus it will do much more if I want to venture into amplified harp. It comes with amp simulation software called Fender FUSE.

Do any of you have any comments on these or similar products?

Thanks,
Tom

Since, you are an acoustic player and looking for an amp to be a PA, I would suggest getting a used clean, solid state amp like a Peavey Bandit. You'll get about 65 watts. Frequently, you can find them on craigslist for less than $100. They are super reliable and not too hard to find.

If you buy one used, you'll be able to get something better.
