Hi Harpers i just thought i would let you know about the help i have recieved from Oxharp following my "Road to the promised land" thread last week.
I had loads of great advice on the forum and then Russ(oxharp) rang me at home and spent well over an hour giving me some great advice and encouragement, i now have a real sense of purpose and focus again, i have marked up a practice regime on my white board i have a couple of songs to learn up (Easy by Walter Horton & it's you that wears the ring by West Weston) plus i am working on a box shuffle lesson on You Tube by Dave Gage and some tounge blocking stuff.
I feel like a weight has lifted off my shoulders! i really did'nt realize just how much the whole aimlessness of my harping life was getting me down so thanks to everyone who chipped in with advice and offers of help and an especially BIG THANKYOU to Oxharp.

Geordie,
really try and come down to Bristol end of October for the jam session and subsequent events at the festival.
You will find it energising, and find out how big the family is.
Russ is usually there.
