I posted in a topic some time ago about a problem with a Bb 3 draw buzz and other oddities.
I opened the harp and had a look at the reed plate. Holding it up to a light with a light background, I can see one edge of the reed slot at the 3 draw reed it appears to have almost edge or burr? It certainly looks different than all of the other slots.

What tool can I use to open it or debur? Excato blade?
Damn, this makes me nervous.. I don't want to trash a reed.
(Especially considering my MBH handle)

It might be a boogered up edge resulting from tuning, see if there are file marks at that spot. If so then stick your fingernail through the back side of the reed slot to push the reed up a little and support it, scrape the edge with a razor blade to knock off the burrs, plink lightly a couple times to clear out the debris.

another alternative is the slender little metal pieces in cd security things.. cut open the plastic to get them.. they can be run up and down along the side. this is a bit lower impact than what harpwrench suggest, and might just work, you can use it to plink the reed too, if that does not work, go harp wrenches way

If you have access to motor shims, try a .001. That works great and it will tear before trashing a reed. Worst case scenario, it would shift the reed in the slot and you'd have to re-center it, but that is super easy to do.

I *might* have like a whopping half hour today to make a Youtube. I am willing to share some specifics, but my struggle has been video quality. I don't have a HD cam and the Zoom Q3 doesn't zoom, so it is hard to make good techie vids.

I might pick up an HD Flip cam soon as I really would like to do some basic harp tech vids.
