I'm interested to talk with anyone involved in remote session work, hired to record at home and send digital files to complete a recording project.
1. Home recording requirements 2. How to market and get found for sessions?
I've done many in-studio sessions, but want to extend my digital "reach."

I do this from time to time.
You'll need a good preamp, mic, and a decent converter. The standard software used in the recording industry is ProTools.
I use ProTools, an Avalon vt737sp preamp (and sometimes an ADL-600), Neumann TLM-103 mic, and I use an old Digidesign 002 to convert the analog signal to digital.
This doesn't mean you have to spend thousands of dollars to get a decent set-up, but I have high-end gear for recording other projects as well, not just harp.
Perhaps Walter Tore would be a good person to ask as well.
