As we were saying....
Thanks kindly for for making us aware of the Al Wilson site. I was/am a big fan and he was a big early influence back in the day. I lived in Hollywood when Canned Heat were at their prime and caught the band many times. I even had the good fortune of being in the dressing room when Owl was jamming with some guys from James Cotton's band. It was a sad day when he passed.
The site is beautifully put together and the information well written. There is some really good stuff there and knowledge about the man which I didn't know about. All of which really increased the respect I already had. Anyone into the blues in general and harp in particular would do well do have a look and a read. Very good stuff.
