Hi Guys,
I've got a bullet mic for sale (will be selling it on e-bay UK only in next few days). I don't know how to price it?? I've played it once or twice but love my SM57 so much and want to buy some stuff anyway so want to get rid of it.
The mic was a present bought from USA. I don't know how much it coasted so don't know how much I should ask for it.
I thought that if I upload some pictures you will be able to tell me how much I can get for it or should get for it.
Thanks you very much in advance.
The pictures are attached below.
Best Regards

Hey Ray,
I think it's a crystal element...I think... not sure.
I know that there is nothing vintage about it...It was bought new about 4 years ago.

harp13--suggest you open it up at post some pictures of the element. It doesn't appear to be a current production Hohner JT30 which is a good sign, but as Ray says, the value is in the element, and not knowing what that is it's impossible to determine its worth.

@ harp13,.if it's stock Astatic crystal element ( Not cheap Japan element )with that chrome plated body (Looks Good ) ya might get 200 Bucks ,..with a Shure CR-CM ya looking at 250-300 bucks if the right guy comes along,..

Question ???
Why Limit your selling to just the UK,.your chances of selling an getting a good price opens up 10 fold if you sell worldwide ><
Ya have a nice chrome JT-30 ,.their rare in chrome <>

Not so sure that mic would fetch $200, at least not in the States. Maybe there is less on offer in the UK. With the economy selling anything is hard and getting harder. Consequently prices have come down.

Custom JT30s are all over Ebay for under $150. With CM maybe $200. With CR $225-$250. And that's asking price. Doesn't mean they're getting it. Ebay is a good place to determine market value. Tag things as a "Watch" and see what they go for.

Also depends on how long you're willing to wait to get your price. Sometimes you get lucky. Sometimes you don't.
