according to one news report i saw cheap trick was playing. what are they doing at a bluesfest.

Actual blues acts are few and far between at most "bluesfests" these days. Ottawa no exception.

Actually James Cotton (with his band) was at the Ottawa Jazz Fest in late June opening for another act :) I had first row right in front of the man, it was epic!

@bluemoose - maybe where you live. Bummer for you. There have been several blues festivals near my location that have had some great blues acts.

In the past month, I've seen Joe Louis Walker, Magic Slim, Bobby Rush, Rod Piazza, Tail Dragger, Deitra Farr, Demetria Taylor, Johnny Rawls and many others at different local festivals. I've also seen James Cotton.

I'm tired from going out.
