Got back from Memphis on Friday night. Had an incredible time, and was really blown away by how friendly everyone at the Memphis Blues Society was!
JB, thanks a million for your hospitality! JB took me around and introduced me to a whole bunch of folks (mostly harp players), including Billy Gibson. I really enjoyed playing, even though I broke a cold sweat when the guitar player called "A minor!" Hmmm. How's that third position go again? And JB brought down the house...what an amazing player. Thanks again to all. I hope this is the first of many visits to Memphis. ----------
