My 19 year old daughter is commuting with me this summer so I am am trying to teach her the harp (C Marine band) as we drive. We got a Gindick beginner cd along with my "wish it were sage" wisdom. I know it is common for beginnners to even get decent sound out of the two hole. I think air must be leaking in through the nose in addition to the mouth. Any advice on getting beginners to manage the lower notes?

Hole two has it's own set of problems. People seem to
want to suck the sound out of the harmonica.
I try to get them to just breath naturally through the
harmonica in as relaxed way as possible.
