I had a bit of an idle day today so thought i might download me some music to listen to for inspiration. Trying not to worry too much aboot my bank balance i went for Sebastien Charlier-Prescious Time,Monk Alters Chi-Buddha,Golden Melodies-Michel Herblin and Howling Spirit-Leno Landini. Aye,all harp player records. Tae the point though,i came across Magic Dave's name. I seem to remember his name from four or five yrs ago on harp-l. I micht even have had a tune of his called The Deb? Rooting around gave no joy. Has Dave got a cd out there of his own? Everything i read aboot him tells me i'm missing something.
By the way that Seb Charlier cd is jaw dropping!
Cheers,Al.

A terrific player. He messed around with alternate tunings as well; he played "Never on Sunday" for me over the phone once, on one of Piere Beauregard's Swing Band harps, if I recall correctly. Magnificent chops, that guy.
