Hey all,

New guy here (been lurking for a while). If anyone's near Philly this weekend, the Bucks County R&B Picnic is happening on Saturday and it looks like a sweet lineup:

Sugar Blue, Steve Guyger, many others...

This will be my first time going, I'm psyched :-)

Tom Cullen, who has been putting the thing together for several decades, really knows how to assemble a great lineup. Ben Prestage will be awesome; I've never seen him live, but his videos show me all I need to know. Sugar Blue and Steve Guyger: exceptional. And there's guaranteed to be somebody else in the lineup who you've never heard of and who blows you away. It will be HOT. Be prepared to get a buzz on before noon: the first act hits at 11 AM, and everybody is filling pitchers with beer from the taps at that point. It is a party.

I've never heard of Leroy Hawkes, for example, but he plays and sings the real blues. Enjoy the show!:

Here's Ben Prestage:

Thanks for the videos, Adam. I remember that you mentioned the picnic in one of your lessons.

Ben Prestage certainly seems like he's got something cool going on.

Now to convince someone to be my designated driver...
