Adam,
I am really enjoying your book, Journeyman's Road! Especially chapters Sitting In, and Jam Session Etiquette.
Here's my question:
Page 94 charges the player to keep harps in tune. Buy new, or learn to tune.
Page 102 says "country tuning" is not perfectly in tune and don't worry about it.
Hope you'll want to comment on this. Thanks for a great book. Recommended to all.

"Jam Session Etiquette" is written by the devil, or is spoken by somebody who says that he is inspired by the devil, and every single claim made in it should be taken with a grain of salt. At least half of the claims in it are manifestly absurd and are designed to mislead a jam-session newbie. The other half are sorta weirdly half-true. You can decide for yourself whether the country-tuning claim is manifestly absurd and misleading, or weirdly half-true. Good luck! But it's absolutely NOT meant to be taken as an serious, accurate guide to harp tuning.
