Art Tipaldi tells me that KICK AND STOMP will be getting a review in the July issue of BLUES REVUE. I'm not a subscriber, but I'm very interested in what they'll have to say. If somebody on this forum is a reader, please contact me off line and let's find a way of getting me a copy of that review. Thanks

Isn't it available at the Bookstore in Oxford or available at the University library to read? It can't cost more than 5$. Is it that hard to find?

I can't say for sure what they will put up online, but a good deal of the reviews go on line to their Blueswax page I believe.

@6SN7: You need to remember: this is a Living Blues town; the magazine is published by the Center where I work. The Blues Archive here has every published work on the blues, but according to the university library records--I just checked--the most recent issue received is the April/May 2010 issue. Looks like they're a year behind.
As for "the bookstore in Oxford": that would be Square Books. Good idea, and thanks for helping out.
I assumed that the folks at Living Blues would subscribe to BR, since it's their primary competition, but the managing editor smiled and said, "No, we don't," when I asked him.

@kudzurunner. That's a laff! Maybe the LB editor can put a pair of Groucho glasses on and go to a store and buy it. I bet Katherine Graham used to buy copies of Time when she was alive! As the Coreone's say "Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer."!
