In my car back and forth to work I pretty much only listen to my blues cd's and sometimes one local rock station. When I jump in the wife's ride occasionally I am exposed to some pop that's on her radio for a few minutes until I can't stand it and turn the radio to the rock station. I accidentally heard this song a couple of times though and thought, wow, that's actually GOOD. This girl has the pipes and this tune jams! Looked up the vid and this is it:

She's awesome. Although I have to say, if Amy Winehouse spent less time making her own liver into her namesake and got on with her music, I don't think Adele would get a look in.
Btw: not my joke, it was Russell Brand's, but nonetheless very funny and very apt.
