I tried to contact you by email on your profile page but it wouldn't take my gmail??
You've been a lot of help with custom MB issues and I have a order set up for microfasteners but I can't figure out the bits. They don't list the 52 or 46. Any help would be much appreciated!
I have close to 100 to do.
Thanks

Hi Littoral

see this thread:
http://www.modernbluesharmonica.com/board/board_topic/5560960/1613404.htm

I phoned Microfasteners and they ordered those bits. The special order took a few days more than a regular order but they were very easy to deal with.

That being said, I prefer to use a slightly smaller bit instead. It find it easier to tap. I just use the smallest bit in most standard drill bit sets (1/16th of an inch) and then 5/64 or 3/32 for clearance. Much easier to find and the tighter fit helps me make a straighter path.

Am I wearing out my tap? Probably, but It doesn't seem to be a problem - It's more damaged from being dropped on the floor than tapping a slightly smaller hole in brass.

I hope this helps.
