Yeah! I'll be at that one. Right now, I'm having a 280 and a 270 being tweaked by George Miklas. I'll be ready come Aug.

I'm coming. I'll be doing Joe Filisko's teach-in for a couple of hours a day on Friday and Saturday and I'll be spending time at the Hohner booth.

I'm also hoping to do a seminar some time on Thursday afternoon or early evening on the lessons I learned from Nat Riddles. Thursday, August 11th, 2011 is the 20th anniversary of Nat's death.

I can't make it this year because of my work.

Anyone know where it might be next year?

I will be there, attending all your seminars, lol. And playing at the jams. Im planning on going Monday night and running around the beach most of Tuesday. I still heard nothing about a harmonica blowoff on Tuesday evening before SPAH.

Michael and/or Brandon, can you tell me when the various SPAH blues jams are?

I will run one in the mornings, Jimi Lee mid afternoon and Joe Filisko at night. My morning one may not be every morning, it will depend upon the schedulers. The location is also TBD, but the late night is almost always in the same room as the main performance.

Thanks.

I'll be doing a seminar from 10 to 11:30 on Saturday morning called "New York Blues Harp: Remembering Nat Riddles (1952-1991)."

I'm pasting this from Harp-L Schedule for SPAH 2011: Excuse those odd characters, they pasted with everything else.

For those of you who still haveÂnot made your decision to attend the 2011 SPAH Convention in Virginia, there is still time to do so. Here's a daily list of the seminars which will take place. Because I am releasing this so early, you'll understand why I have to add the usual "Seminars are Subject to Change" clause. It has however, been my own experience, that SPAH always provides more rather than less. Then there are also the concerts, the jams, the harmonica players and the harmonicas. Only at SPAH.Â

I tried like mad to get that time off, but no luck. :( This should be the last year that I am expected to work over that time as my current position expires (and I'd go back to teaching and have that time off). I've been applying at other places knowing if I accepted an offer I'd almost certainly make it to SPAH, but no luck yet.

I would love to do some customizing lessons, or rock playing lessons at any of these sorts of events. I have a BA, MA, and Specialists in Education and work in Curriculum and Instruction (and Administration) for my career...so I think I'd be qualified as a teacher, lol.

I helped host and then played at the blow-off last year. I also facilitated and played at the electric blues jam.

That being said, blues isn't my strongest genre.
