Not trying to fan flames or ruffle feathers, but given the history of posts on this forum I wanted to let you guys know that I received B-radicals in A and D today.

I ordered all 5 keys in Spring 2009. The cover plates are flat black and not shiny/purplish like the Bb or C harps.

I hope HH survives because these are my favorite harps to play. I've shared many of your frustrations with the wait times and response to inquiries.

Hope yours arrives soon!

I would love to see B rad pull out of this tailspin and that all of you could get your harps that you have been much more patient about than I would be

I ordered my B rad in the key of A in fall 2009. So maybe in six months I'll see it in the mail?

Do you know if it's actually painted flat black, or parkerized or something?

I don't know if it (the cover plate) is painted or parkerized. It is less shiny than the others. The surface of the newer coverplates look the same on the inside as the outside. Just a bit less reflective than the firebreath coverplates.

The old finish was black nickel. The new one is supposed to be proprietary.
