I'm new here, so if this has been discussed before, please forgive me. I'm also new to internet radio, so if I come across as out-of-touch, please forgive that too because I am.

I stumbled across Pandora last week and signed up for a free trial, which gives you 40 hours of whatever kind of music you wanna listen to over the net with short commercials, 1 about every 8 songs, maybe 10 seconds long. After 40 hours, you can subscribe for $39.00 a year with no commercials or any kind of advertising.

When I set up my "channel", I typed in Sonny Boy Williamson 2 and I'm listening to him and tons of songs in that genre, including all of the great old blues harp artist like Little Walter, Sonny Terry, Paul Butterfield, well, you get the picture. All blues and almost all entirely harp music from the greats. The library is pretty wide in scope and this is a good thing if you spend a lot of time at your computer like I do.

google: Pandora Internet Radio if you're interested.

Oh yeah. Pandora baby! In addition to crankin blues on the computer, I have the Pandora Droid app, so I can plug it into the radio in my car.

Bonus: My DVD Blu-Ray player can stream Pandora from my wireless network, so blues on the TV surround system.

I've discovered some awesome new (old) blues & blues harp stuff thanks to Pandora.

Search for the "Juicy Harmonica Radio" channel, very harp-centric.
'William Clarke Radio' channel gets hoppin' too.

Go ahead and play the blues if it'll make you happy.
