This past weekend I happened to hear this hour-long interview with Victor Wooten, bass player with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.

Victor expresses ideas here that are similar to some of those expounded by the late Chris Michalek and MBH's own Walter Tore.

It's pretty inspiring stuff, and perhaps a different way of experiencing how music works.

Have a listen. I recommend it for any musician (or artist).

Hey, this is great! Thanks for the heads up.

I have watched his DVD which was also recommended by Chris, which covers different topics in and around music.

It is sold as a bass guitar workshop, however it is really about a take on music in general. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in making and/or playing music of any kind.
