I know many people will disagree and I'm fine with that. One thing that keeps my interest is keeping things fresh. I've been playing for six months and just picked up my first amp and mic set up. I picked up a used Shure 520dx and a used pig nose 7-100 on eBay. I spent close to two months just watching these and seeing what they were selling for. I actually hadn't intended to buy anything this soon but I found two steals that couldn't be passed up. Combined (w/o shipping) I spent $105. While I know this isn't a 'gigging' rig, its pretty neat to mess around with. I guess the point of this post is to help other beginners realize if they're on a tight budget you don't need to spend much money to get amped. And im sure in a years time I'll have become tired of this outfit and will be able to sell it at a profit.

Back to the woodshed,
