Hubert Sumlin Willie "Big Eyes" Smith David Honeyboy Edwards Billy Branch Rick Estrin Nick Moss Shamekia Copeland
And a lot more great Blues artists.
It is the largest free Blues festival in the world. Always a hell of a good time.
If anyone is going we should meet up and play some street harmonica.

Billy Branch Killed it tonight! Despite a few technical difficulties (Sticky Harp).
Magic slim teamed up on a couple songs with him. Absolutely Amazing. The Sons of Blues were Hot.
The old Chess studio was having a little Shindig from 9-1pm. Free admission.
Afterwards there was a couple Japanese kids Busking on Michigan Ave. 2 guitars one with a rack harp. He was playing some nice old kind-of Dan Smith style stuff. They were killing it! Bills were flying left and right into the bucket. They had a mighty fine crowd. And neither of them looked over 18!
A Damn fine night for Blues. Despite a small and Wet setback of mist from mother nature and the Buckingham Fountain shooting overly high. It was around 70 degrees. Never got hot and was perfect hoodie weather. Perfect Weather. ---------------
Sunday should be a blast also! Good Blues all day and The Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium are having free admission days.
Perfect time to come out if you were thinking about it.

Billy is a great harp player. The SOB's are always a tight band. Billy and his band are true pro's. His bass player, Nick Charles played with Howlin Wolf in the sixties.
Magic Slim is fabulous. In fact, when people say they find shuffle after shuffle after shuffle boring, you can tell that they've never seen Magic Slim! Magic Slim's performances are intense. He's old school and totally bad ass!
