This one came out just a minute ago. It is to the class of 2011 and by this I mean not only HS/college grads, but anyone that has made strides this year. Peace! Walter

I love that outlook Walter, and that song hit me at a perfect time!

That vein of your sound reminds me of Jonathon Richmond . It makes me wonder if he is a spontaneous improviser at heart like yourself.

I salute you for how you give yourself to your personal muse, and your music has become a muse for me that I check into frequently whether I comment or not.

Thanks for being here and sharing your music!

thanks shanester! I often wonder why I keep posting my songs and then someone like you shares they enjoy them so I keep doing it. I wish there were more people doing what I do from purely a selfish place. Then I would have a community to be a part of. I realize putting out at least a cd worth of songs a day is not even in the realm of what we consider "music". I only post a few from each day because it takes too long to upload them to the net. At best an artist puts out a cd a year. It use to confuse and make me sad over being so removed from the musicans world. Here I was right in the heart of it all, but totally alone. As I age I get clearer with it. Now I am pretty much totally removed from the musicians world and feel more connected to music than ever before. It is a great microcosim of life. We live alone inside ourself, for sure die alone, try to fit in, give up, go with the flow, and along the way if we learn to live in the moment are connected with the universe, which is timeless, faceless, and completely calming and peaceful. It goes beyond any person(s) and time has no meaning, just the moment. It includes the animals, sky, trees, everything! I am just plain thankful to have ventured into this arena of life and that I have an outlet to go to for my emotional well being. If it never goes farther than that it was an overwhelming success! Walter

hell yeah class of 2011. i just barely graduated from high school with like a 2.2 gpa, and now im off to pursue my dreams. i dunno what you think i can do about war though, i have been telling people for the longest time they need to learn to get past all this senseless violence but noone listens to me. there will always be wars because the corrupt and greedy will always be in charge. humans are naturally violent anyway, i mean they made up the concept of money and then the day after they invented it they were already all set to start killing eachother over it but whatever. cheers man, thanks for the song.

I just graduated too with my BFA. It's so weird not feeling like my instructors are breathing down my neck. The program had a lot of personal attention, which was both a good and bad thing. I could never hide when I wanted to. Haha.

@thechangingclors I actually just saw this really great lecture from the Royal Science Academy. They had concluded through study that higher primates (most especially humans) are soft-wired for compassion and generosity. In humans, greed is a learned behavior. I guess the only exceptions would be sociopaths, who I found out in another study, actually tend to hold positions of power. So I guess the traditional view of humans being naturally greedy is only half right. It's a little encouraging I guess.

Anyway, thanks for th song Walter. I totally dig the sentiment of existing in the moment from time to time. It's the best way to create, in my opinion. I feel like there's infinite inspiration when we're able to look beyond the everyday parameters of life and see the world from a third person perspective.

It was refreshing to hear something other that a standard 12 bar blues. I would say that was one of your better tunes. Well done
