I hear a musician (JR) trying new things here. That's always a good thing. He's got a heck of a guitar-shredding pushing him, which is definitely a good thing:

Awesome video, that really makes me want to make a pilgrimage to NOLA again, this time for much longer!

Four days of nonstop music and partying sounds about right.

That place really is a fertile womb of culture, so much greatness and soul comes out of there. Jason was smart to locate there from a creative standpoint!

I gotta go soon! I 'spose I should be hardcore and do it in the heat of the summer...dripping with sweat all day and night is a crucial part of the experience!

Suffering may be optional, but it can be quite addictive!

Hi Adam,
thanks for posting my videos of the "new" Jason Ricci.
He is always on top of his all famous harmonica skills. He blows more perfect notes a night than I in a month.

John Lisi is the best singer and guitar player Jason need for his kind of playing harp.

Pictures of jason Ricci & John Lisi will follow soon on my blog. It is in german, but you can use the translator. It is a blog of my Mississippi Blues Trail Trip I made last April/May.
