Greg Heumann has his shit together.
Last week, I finally made my way back home from a several week project in SE Alaska. Wrapped up on 6May,Fri and got back into "civilization". Had a nice weekend in a hotel with nice showers. Called my wife for the update and she gave me the rundown on my mail and the packages that had been delivered in my absence. A box from Blowsmeaway. Aha. Very nice. Let's head home.
Got my bike from the shop in Juneau, packed back up and hit the road.
I won't bore you with the trip report (that's a posting for a demographic at a whole different forum). I will tell you that it is clearly bear season in the heavy woods.
Made it to the great Boonville Beer Festival on 14May, my only real scheduled appointment.
Got myself finally to the house, hugged my dog, kissed my wife and tore into the box. Then, I opened my packages.
Lo and behold. My new blue-anodized Ultimate 57 and wireless system. Awesome. The blue 57 sitting next to my red 58 is just too cool of a visual. Things of beauty.
And, the wireless. Wow. You professional types already know the benefit. I'm just a hacker. But, I'm a believer. Walking through the house, down the stairs, out into the yard, and beyond. I could turn the 100watt up and do my own soundcheck from outside the house. Love it.
