I have been playing stock harps all my life and am ready to join the modern days of harp. A couple of years ago I got some delta frosts and a recently a MBD and boy do they smoke the stock marine bands. They both play much easier but I am hooked on the MB tone (40 years of playing them has me hooked on their sound). I am wondering if there is anyone in the central ohio area that could show me how to get my stock marine bands (I still have a ton of them from when I was an endorsee) to play better. In exchange I can offer my recording studio services in a barter, and or instruction on my way of doing music. I live in the central ohio area. Walter

Walter,

I am hoping to get to Columbus to meet some friends this summer. I would be happy to show you as much as I can. While I am no master customizer, I can do a good enough job to get you way down the line. Perhaps someone else can help you before then, but if not, I'll let you know when we make our plans.

KingoBad: I look forward to your visit. My studio has a full bath, bed, central air, heat. You are welcome to stay there. My only rules are - no smokers and be dog/cat friendly.

chromaticblues: I responded on the other thread. I hope you can come visit too! What do you do for work? That sounds like a rock tour schedule :-)

I build/fly radio control sailplanes so am pretty handy with tools and precise stuff. I have a super nice universe in my studio. I can see how brian wilson and the beatles never wanted to leave theirs.
