...cause you made me love harp, blues, and introduced me to Natt Riddles (from whom I got this song). Here's a version of Shotgun Blues (Sonny boy's jump) from a recent gig with our trio (The Illegible Bachelors)
Rubes: We like to call each other illegible Bachelors because none of us are actually bachelors (hence the "illegible" part). Dads in Space is a cool name as well. ---------- Heart2Harp
Very nice stuff. The acoustics of the space really work with the sound of your harp. You've got a pedigreed sound--and some nice movement in your voice (like a pitcher with a good cutter). Keep on in the same direction. No changes needed.
Just wanted to say that I've been hearing a lot of you on Sirius XM channel 70 (Bluesville). I know they have a few songs in rotation, and they are all smokin' hot.
Thanks for the lessons and a place for newbies and pros alike to show up and share.
Try some hand effects. They add a lot of colour.Esp with acoustic harp. Why not lay down some rhythm harp to let the guitarist open up a bit during his solo's. ---------- The Pentatonics Myspace Youtube

Heart2harp Man your a great blues singer! That was good! I'm not a bandwagon guy, but you are a good singer! Your singing carries the whole thing. That was enjoyable! Your harp playing has a late 40's chicago feel with your octaving style. Thats a cool style that not alot of people are doing. I've never listened to any of your other stuff so I don't know if thats your style or if you were just playing the song. Either way it sounds good!
