Yeah, it's a Bobby Day medley, Itty Bitty & Rockin' Robin, Though recorded by Day (Thurston Harris had the more popular version), Rocking Robin was written by Leon Rene.
Thurston Harris never recorded "Rockin' Robin"- Harris' flip side was "I hope you won't hold it against me",with "Little Bitty Pretty One " as the A side. Michael Jackson hit the charts with "Rockin' Robin" , reaching number 2 on the Billboard hot 100-the same place Day charted with he song 14 years earlier.
You're right, poor punctuation & construction by me - I was talking about the pair as a whole...the point being Day recorded both, but only wrote AND recorded Little Bitty Pretty One (Harris having the more poular version), as opposed to Rocking Robin which Day recorded originally, but Rene wrote.
Phew, getting myself in a right old muddle today ;-)

Nice! Kudos to the band too. Nice to have a crew that will work that out -especially the drummer. I've wanted to do that tune for years but at least it's fun enough solo.
