Some great harmonica playing by Bill Dicey in the second half of the song!

"Some Black Snakes Out There Suckin' On My Rider's Tongue" is a track from the out of print album "It Ain't Nobody's Business What Brenda Bell May Do!" or "The Art of Brenda Bell" released on Spivey Records in 1984. I got hold of a copy that was brand new in seal and I digitized it. Enjoy!

Wow! I love the way she hits on that note "Some..." in the first line of each verse, the 6th (E note in key of G). That sounds so good.

Thanks for sharing that SwampBlues!

I had or have a book by Bill Dicey "The Quest For Amplified Tone". It was a pretty cool book. Very informative for that era. Mostly about equipment in the good old days. After I read his book I bought my first Champ for $35. You couldn'd buy one of the tubes in that amp now for $35!
