From the Prairie CrossRoads Blues Society May newsletter. This society is pretty new in Champaign-Urbana, and Kilborn Alley has a band membership:

"The Kilborn Alley Blues Band will be leaving for their European tour on May 5. The first stop will be Ospel, the Netherlands for the huge Moulin Blues Festival held May 6 and 7. Kilborn will be playing on the evening of the first day. Nick Moss is playing on the second day, along with some other names you would definitely recognize. Check out the Moulin Blues website.

The next stop will be London, where Kilborn Alley will play a return gig at the Sydenham Blues Club. To quote the London Blues Festival website, “In the band’s ‘2009 London Pubs & Clubs’ tour Kilborn Alley brought audiences to their feet at Charlotte Street, the Sydenham Blues Club, The Oval, and other fine venues.” The Londoners will be delighted to see Kilborn Alley perform live again. "

If I hear anything else, I will post. (Except when I am at HCH 2!)

edit: I found this:

I hope I embedded correctly!

Great band I wish the harp was more present.
This always seems to be a problem when you have two
guitars. Harp plays great but I think he needs to play
with a hand held mic to hear that great tone out front.

In live performances the harp was always more present. Joe Asselin was the harp player for most of the band's existence. Joe left to play primarily guitar in the Sugar Prophets, and that band went to the finals in Memphis this year. Deak Harp played with Kilborn until recently, and now they don't have harp unless someone sits in. They have kept the sax player. I have sat in on occasion. My style is most effective on the songs that are more soul based, and also on the countryish Redneck in a Soul Band. Deak killed on the massive toned rhythmic blues numbers.

Thanks guys all is well now.

I have had a reply from Tom and Andy's Girlfriend giving me all the dates.

Tom invited me to bring my Harps to a gig but I am unsure if I could even get close to how Deak lays it down. I only been at this harp thing 4 years this month but I am tempted to have a try.

This was me last year at the last gig.
