Being very new here and at harps, I need some info on a harmonica that I have. It's a Hohner Auto Valve Harp 105/40A. It is at least 20 years old and is in good working condition. Can anyone tell me what it might be worth and is there any sort of market for these? Is older better? What are sort of music are they used for? Any info at all would be appreciated. (Also, If this isn't out of line here, if anyone would be interested in this harp, I would probably trade it for a nice wood comb diatonic harp, if it's worth that much. )

It's an octave harp, but it has wind savers.

You need to get your Cajun or Polka groove on!

You could probably sell it on ebay and at least buy a new diatonic, maybe two depending on the price you get.

Thanks Danny

That's a good bet on the polkas as the fellow who had this was an old Polka fan. By the sounds of it I probably should just get it a new home where someone will enjoy it as I have never been a polka fan and Cajun music just isn't something I would ever try to play.

Thanks again
