I got home from a hard day's work, felt a little nostalgic, and made a video of an old childhood ditty we used to sing back in a simpler time in Austin, Texas.

Hope you enjoy it, let me know what you think!

Thank you, Hobostubs! A lot of my playing around the house rises from something ridiculous like that, the great thing is that in trying to make a joke, I learn something new, like playing in a different style.

I haven't posted much because I think most of my solo stuff is pretty boring.

I've really been wanting to record at the jam I play at and I finally got the balls to set up a little video camera and recorded last night the 4 numbers I got to play on.

It was a tricky night. The first two numbers were with this guy I never played with before who was a great singer and a really funky, fast guitar player, we did Ain't no Sunshine and On Broadway. I think everyone had a hard time keeping up and I totally botched my solo on On Broadway.

All that and the mic on my camera got totally overdriven, oh well, I guess I'll set it back further next time!

Great to hear from you, musical brother!
