For Sale is a Chris Michalek Buddha Harp with a Green Diamond wood comb made for me in the key of C. I have about five C harps, and am trying to get some money up to get another Spiers harp... This Buddha one has recently been gone over by Harvey Berman and is in Top of the line condition. I'm asking 175.00 for it shipping included. First come firs serve paypal will be the method of payment after an email confirmation at jasonricci93@yahoo.com. See yall at the Hill Country Harmonica Jam. Thanks again!

I did...Haven't heard back.. but it was just a moment ago that it went out. Kinda like the idea of owning one of Chris's harps that also belonged to Jason.

I know Jason doesn't spend too much time around the computer these days(he plays his ass off down here), but he'll get back to you-he's good for that.

Wow it said you received the payment Jason. Is there some other Jason Ricci perhaps? I sent you the screen shot of my paypal account showing it was pending.

Well I screwed up, I sent it to an unregistered account. I will buy Jason a beer when I see him in MS. If you see this Jason, just email Theo the correct billing acccount info and I will get to it early AM. Off to bed it's 10:00PM.

Chris Michalek Buddha Harp with a Green Diamond wood comb? What I got today was a Low D with a Bad 3 draw 4 draw and not one note tuned correctly. Rusted cover plates to boot.

Wow, as a bystander, I am completely baffled with this whole transaction... Sending money to an unregistered account??? Perhaps you received the harp from the unregistered Jason Ricci....

But if you e-mailed Jason at jasonricci93@yahoo.com and he e-mailed you back the Paypal address to send $ to (with a PayPal address that had "majorbacon" in it) then it seems legit.

I bought a delay pedal from Jason a while back using the 2 e-mail addresses as above with no problem.

I can only assume at that point he inadvertently sent you the wrong harp?

You should contact Jason, it sounds like there was mix up when shipping out the orders. If I remember correctly he also put a low D harp up for sale not long after selling this C harp, so I'm guessing the person who bought the Low D has(or will) recieved your C harp. The same thing happened to me awhile back when I ordered something from Jason.

You may need to contact Harvey instead, because last I heard Jason's computer wasn't working, and Harvey was taking care of selling some things for him. So if you can't get ahold of Jason directly, contact Harvey (cscharp@bellsouth.net) and I'm sure he'll help you get things figured out.

I received a whole bunch of help from two of Jason's friends on this matter. Yes, I got the right PayPal account from Jason. I never heard back after making the payment and I inquired as to what was going on. A friend of Jason's called him and spoke to him about this, he was supposed to give me the harp at Hill Country. I was told by another of Jason's friends that he was mailing out the harp for Jason. So what we've got here is a failure to communicate? Right now I have the wrong harp that was mailed with Jason's Name and return address on it. I am hoping that one or both of the guys that helped me the first time will call him once again. These guys are both terrific people for helping me.

According to spiershaarmonicas.com, Joe isn't taking any orders for Jason to get one.

Oh well, I have to admit......I'd move him to the top of the list. ;-)

@ Jim

Yes, maybe so for common folk.......but, Jason is an artist.

He's left up to his on devices to eek out his living.

Were he born in an earlier time and played violin as he does harmonica, he might have been granted with support beyond our dreams from the Queen.

Being the best harp player in the US gets him--Squat.

I will admit that Jason's lifestyle and music style probably limits his financial success. But, that is not for those who attempt to toot a harp judge him by.

In my dealings with Jason in the past I will only say that I would trust that he will make everything "right".

I am going to be on the road for a few days, but I am going to call jason later today, and see if he can straighten out this mess. Jason IS honest, to the best of my knowledge, and I am sure he will make this right, somehow. With Jason's talent, if he was a good businessman, he would be wealthy. Unfortunately, he is not one. I sold a few of his harps for him, because he did not have computer access, and they have been cleaned, and shipped out to the approriate buyers, except for the two that I am taking to HCH to deliver. As of yesterday, Jason is coming with me, so you guys can discuss it there.

I am waiting on a couple from Jason too and would again like to thank Harvey for helping out with this. I know that if the situation was anywhere near optimal these harps wouldn't have been for sale to begin with.

UPDATE on the mix-up, which is what it is:
I just got off the phone with Harvey, who is currently on the road, and he asked me to let you all know that Jason had paid a friend to mail a couple harps out for him, and the friend apparently got their wires crossed, sending the wrong harps to the wrong recipients. Jason will rectify this as soon as he can, and apologizes for the mix-up.
