Hey folks,
In Feb of 2011 there was discusion about these new mics and buying them for $50 to switch out with a good element.
Well I came across a great old element and went to buy this shell and it is now listed at $99!!
Dang, does anyone know where to get these for $50 or did the price seem to double while I wasn't looking.

Yeah. They're back up to $99.99 now at Musicians Friend. But they go on sale every now and then.

I'm glad I got mine for the $49 price. I just ordered an adapter for it from Greg so it will use a standard guitar jack/chord.

Jason, The exact same thing happened to me! I just kept checking back on the price, and in about 2 weeks, it was back down to $49. I would check at the beginning of next month and hopefully it will be back down to $49. They were only at the $99 price for one month before going back on sale.
