I got my silver bullet yesterday and it's one dirty howlin bad ass mic. I have nothing but good words for Ron. He sent pictures and update every day and once the bullet was shipped he sent email each time USPS updated the tracking. A big thanks to you Ron for the great mic, I love it. If you're looking for a mic do yourself a favor and have a chat with Ron.
I also bought a Danelectro Honeytone and I'm really suprised with this amp it doesn't sound bad and it's suprisingly loud.
My playing's not ready for some sound so here's the vid Rharley did so I could ear my mic.

Very nice, blues. I like this mic, since I know the shell's diameter will be more to my liking than the Shures or Astatics are. My one bit of constructive criticism would be for him to use a countersunk screw to attach the grille cover to the body, instead of those panhead screws. Pureley cosmetic, of course. Reminds me very much of my old dead Ruskin, which I enjoyed before I dropped it and the crystal element broke. Unfortunately, those Ruskin mics had the cover glued on and some sort of rivet also held it in place, so I haven't been able to open it up and replace the element. I hope to give Rharley some business before too long. ---------- Todd

@Blues13,.. SUKM's Thanks you for the fine review of my Rharley Original Silver Bullet !!
@toddlgreene,. the reason for the set up I use is,. if I used the single countersunk screw to attach the grille cover to the body,. I could not use My Neoprene gasket (I've developed My own gaskets for most Bullets). An the element would sit on a Bad Angle inside the shell ,.really hurting tone! I've seen some builders use pipe foam,.the element still sits on that Bad Angle an Now your Blowin 60% into foam an 40% into the element. The Glue an rivet thing is a bad idea for the reason you state. ,.Thanks for the constructive criticism,.an the business when the time comes,.. ----------click link below----------------------- Simply Unique Kustom Mic's By Rharley
