Hi Everyone,
Just a quick line regarding Tom Dikon.
I ordered 4 Marine Band Deluxes from him this month. B, Db, E and F.
They just arrived and are excellent value for money. $32.95.
I need to do a little tweaking, but all play the 6OB out the box and the E plays 4,5, and 6.
I'm very pleased to pick these up so cheap and even happier about the quality.
Many thanks Tom. Highly recommended.

I bought a 14-hole MB off Tom. Great price, and service!

Tom is one very impressive musician, singer and harp player. I had a chance to catch his concert earlier this month. He was captivating! He is certainly one of the local favorites here in the Williamsburg Virginia Area. Visit his website and watch some of his video's at... http://www.tomdikon.com/videos.html

B, Db, E and F? Close to a set of the least used keys. Any particular reason for getting these? Certain music style? Who you play with? Just curious (and the man with the yellow hat was no where to be seen.)

Hey Bluemoose,
I play guitar in a disco funk band. No real live playing on harp, but I'm trying to work some into the set.
Here's the reasoning, aside from having a full set of harps.
Db: 2nd position Ab. Boogie On Reggae Woman. Stevie Wonder. Normally played on an Ab in first position, but listen to Fredric Yonnet's version.
E: B in second position. Sir Duke. Stevie Wonder. I picked up Christelle's version on YouTube. I love the way she picks up great songs and translates them to harp. This harp overblows well, so I'm really happy as I need them for this tune.
F: C in second. Gotta have a F to jam with a piano player right?
B: Cos it was available at the right price. I would've had an F# too, but Tom didn't have one.
There is method to my madness.
Cheers
Steve
