Eric actually thought it was quite amusing,with the dog urinating below the famous caption-I believe Clapton thought it "quite apropos".

I will be honest, I think Clapton is overrated, and believe Peter Green and Bloomfield are where it is at (even though Bloomfield has been dead for years). This "how many records has he sold" business is stupid, Justin Bieber has sold a lot, too.

Zack, I'm glad you made the Bieber reference. All too often critics site CD sales as a measure of talent. Bloomfield was genius. Like many with a mental illness, he was brilliant. If you haven't already, check out "If you love the blues", an oral history of Bloomfield.
