I'm having trouble figuring out the harp keys on four Roma Wilson songs. I own keys A,Bb,C,D,E,F,and G and nothing seems to fit. I'm thinking the keys needed are Ab,B,or a low key. The songs are "The Lord will make a way","My Lord is gonna move this wicked race","I'm so glad trouble won't last" and "Motherless child". Any knowledge or help would be much apppreciated. I did spend several hours trying to find info but had no luck.

Sorry for being late with this, and you may have already figured them out, but all the songs you've listed are an Ab harp in 2nd position (at least on the versions I have). ---------- Ozark Rich

Thanks Rich, this is a surprise and much appreciated.I can't afford to spend money on a harp I won't use much. Some Guitar Centers have had Ab marine bands for 19.99 recently in their clearance sales. Thanks to you,I feel much better about spending the money.( of coarse,I may be deluding myself thinking I can actually learn these songs;Roma is pretty good.)

When I don't have the right key harp I use a free program called BestPractice. It only works with CDs but you can change the pitch a semi-tone up or down and play a G or A harp (in this case) to learn the songs. You can also slow down the song at any pitch and loop sections. The only downside is if you only have the mp3s you have to burn them to an audio disc first. ---------- Ozark Rich
