So I was getting tired of carrying my harps on stage and at faire in my belt pouch. So this week I made this... this is actually version 2. I made a prototype earlier in the week. So out came the leather, the cutters, the ruler, the dye, etc etc... 3 hours later

I've been thinking about it...getting a harp belt...even if it held only 6 or 7...but it's have to be black and look bad @$$.

this one is actually done with a mahogony dye. I alsmost went black but decided this looked a bit more weathered. The pictures are not color corrected its actually a touch darker than it looks in the pics.
This is version 2. Now that I have a really good idea of how the pieces need to fit I will probably end up doing a final version without the rivets. Most likely sewn.
also have a design for 12 harp case in my head with some sort of carved cover.

nice work. i knew a girl once that use to carry her pepper spray in something similar. LOL

It would be nice if there were seperate pouches for each harp, and the pouches would snap, button or tie together.

That could be done. a little widening and an extra set of holes would allow you to attach them together one by one. But it would not be as stable.
