They are $59.95. If you don't like the orange comb, I sell them with black combs for $67. It is very similar to the old Silver Plus, which was $95, as I remember.

I don't know and I've asked. On the price, Keep in mind it's an 1847 with a recessed comb. If I were pricing it, I'd price it around $75. The introductory thing is to get people into Steel reeds, which is the direction Seydel is headed with everything.

It's the same reeds as the 1847s, same reedplate that was in the 1847 Silver Plus. you're talking about custom work, but not what you'd call a full level custom, right? That would be $95 total. Thanks David www.elkriverharmonicas.com ----------

Hi folks, I just wanna let you know that I posted a new video where I play the Session Steel.
I hope you like it. And whoever met me on my trip from New Orleans - Memphis (23rd April - 09 May) can check this harp. I will carry them with me. Just let me know where we can met. Best place would be a jam session :-)
I got my first Session Steel last week, but that is a custom harp (Beta-harp by Ben Bouman) so I cannot tell anything about the o.o.t.b. version.
My Steel Beta is air tight, better than the normal Blues Session (I have two of them and they leak like a strainer). It's customized, therefore accurately pitched of course and good to play.
I only dislike the Session covers, but that's a personal thing. I just prefer the 1847 covers, in my mouth as well as in my hands.
