Word is at a University seminar last week, Adam discussed his realization that whites playing harmonica is a symbol of racist exploitation of african american music. He mentioned considering quitting playing and discontinuing this forum. Please contact Adam and let him know how much his playing and this forum mean to you, maybe we can change his mingd

I'm quitting too. Once I found out what a Randian was, and I realized that I was one of them, I've decided to become a manualist/minimalist instead. Adam, please let me join you in forming the 'Modern Blues...Oh, Nevermind' Forum.

Adam came to the realization that modern blues is so yesterday. The new site will be called Post-Modern Blues Harmonica. Fascists and Randians need not bother trying to join.

i thought it was a consensus wasnt a black-white thing?
but now playing a harmonica is??!?
how many blues songs have harp in them?
gotta be waaay less than 1/2. i would think maybe 1/3 is even being generous.
how's playing harp a form of racist exploitation when not even 1/3 of the blues songs have harp? and that percentage drops real fast if you want to throw in other "black" music.
actually this will work out real good for me if this starts a trend. it just pushes me a tad further up the harmonica player ladder. AND I DIDNT EVEN PRACTICE THIS WEEK!!!
and let's get real. considering the amount of time and effort and love adam has put into this instrument, i will book very good odds that adam wont quit.

I had a black nanny growin up in the Delta that I loved like a gradma and still love her long after she has gone. One day she called me a N_____ and I thought to myself that is the best compliment I have ever gotten.
