Anyone use these ?
Shure 5655 pistol grip.
Unidyne B PE515
I've seen vids of both, but hard to tell. Looking for personal experience / tasteful ears.
A buddy has some for sale kinda cheap, but anything that don't work is expensive.

I've used a 515 before. It sounded pretty darn good. I would buy a hi-Z model at the right price.

I have a 515 and it is pretty nice. It is not my favorite, but would be a fine backup mic if I needed it. The best part is you can pick them up pretty cheap on ebay.

Isn't the 515 the platform RHarley builds those fine customs of his on? I'd like to try one some day.
