Last night I went to my usual Sunday night Blues Jam. A great bunch of guys run it (Johnny Rage), and you never know who is going to show up. Well last night we had a great time....you know what I mean..everyone is feeding off the energy of the cat next to him. A friend brought in his new Meteor Amp ( A mini 15) There were only two harp players in attendance so after I played, Wayne got up and set up his new amp. He sounded great. Well after a long set he got thirsty and got off stage and told me to plug in . Whoa....I have played though a Meteor before...but not with a full band....two guitar players (miced to the PA) A bass player with a Double stack of Hartke 4X10s) A keyboard player and the drummer. What a freakin trip !!!!! This thing cut trough everything on it's own....NO feedback issues at all. A TONE MONSTER.

@ Greg H....I now really understand what you meant a while back in our discussion about where TONE comes from. I'm sure all the custom amps are great...This is the only one I have ever used, and I loved it.....gotta start saving after HCH II.

Wish I could have such intimate players around where I'm from. One of the best amp encounters I ever had was when my teacher gave me a shot at his Meteor mini-meat amp with the 6V6 tubes. There's nothing like it on full volume.
