It's a great site! I''m busy at work right now, so I'll elaborate later.

Bluesharmonica.com is one of the best resources on the internet for all things harmonica. Here's a few reasons why.
It has one of the most respected harmonica teachers in the world running it.
You can learn at your own pace with easy to follow lessons.
David Barrett will answer any questions you may have and help you at every step.
The video interviews are fantastic and give a great insight into the mindset of professional players.
The contributors (Mark Hummel, Gary Smith, Aki Kumar, etc) are all great players with a wealth of knowledge to share.
The assessment process is great. David gives you good, solid, honest feedback on every submission you enter.
The site teaches both diatonic and chromatic harmonica.
The sections on harmonica maintenance (with Kinya Pollard) are superb.
The price for all this is extremely cheap.

I second what Kingley says.
I was only a member for one month, financial commitments ment i had to take a break but i do intend to re-subscribe.
It was because of Bluesharmonica.com i realised how important Tongue Blocking is(Dave Barretts lessons are all Tongue Blocked).
Like Kingley said, there is a wealth of Harmonica infomation on there including really great interviews with top harp players.
Another great thing about the site is that you can leave and re-subscribe when you like, if you can't afford it one month you just cancel your paypal payment with the option of rejoining when you like.
I would say if you want to play the Blues then its worth checking out:o) ----------

Ant makes a good point about the subscribe/unsubscribe option. I subscribed for about three months then like Ant had to cancel to to financial circumstances. I recently re-subscribed.

I love it! The lessons are great and easy to follow. Dave responds to any of your questions very quickly. I also like the interviews, and the videos on gear and harp customising. When you think about it, it's a really great deal. It would cost you more to take one 1/2 hour lesson with a local instructor than a one month subscription with David who has to be one of the best if not the best!
You can try it for a month, and if it doesn't float your boat then cancel? I'm pretty sure you'll like it! ----------

The cool thing about David's site is that he's assembled some very capable people around him that can speak to their various knowledge areas. They are all very good teachers that give great advice. ---------- The Blues Photo Gallery

Add me to the fan list. I've been a subscriber since day one and there's no question about it being the "go to" site for what I need to learn. I just hit four years of playing but feel "Buesharmonica" has given me everything I need to learn pus background info on music and technical stuff thanks to his approach and the resource people that are there.

i'd rather save up for some live lessons instead - nothing online can compare to a face to face lesson with a good teaching pro in your own living room! ---------- ~Banned in Boston!

Thanks folks. I signed up and couldn't be happier with the wealth of info on the site. I think all levels can find use from his lessons. I still also shamelessly plug Adam's lessons for anyone looking to learn songs. David Barrett's site is great for learning the ins and outs of improvisation. These 2 guys flat out love harmonica and teaching. Thanks!
